Geelyn has extensive experience as a domestic helper, having worked in Singapore and Oman for several years in diverse family settings.

In 2004, Geelyn worked in Singapore for a Chinese family with three daughters aged 3, 4, and 5 years old. The family lived in a 3-story house with 3 bedrooms and 5 toilets, and Geelyn was the sole helper. Her primary responsibilities included childcare tasks such as bathing the children, combing their hair, preparing their school items, and managing drop-offs and pick-ups from school. She also handled household chores, including cooking, cleaning, car washing, ironing, and laundry.

From 2004 to 2006, Geelyn worked for another Chinese family in Singapore, caring for a 7-year-old boy. The family resided in a condominium with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Her main duties involved preparing the boy’s school items, assisting with homework, organizing his clothes, and ensuring he was accompanied to and from school. In addition to childcare, she managed various household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, ironing, laundry, and marketing.

From 2021 to 2023, Geelyn gained further experience working in Oman for a Muslim family with three adult children aged 26, 24, and 22 years old. The family lived in a 3-story house with 7 bedrooms and 7 toilets. As the sole helper, Geelyn was responsible for preparing meals, organizing household items, changing bed covers and curtains, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the house. She developed a warm rapport with the family, enjoyed bonding with them, and took pride in fulfilling her responsibilities.

Geelyn possesses special skills in bicycle riding and hand sewing. She is eager to expand her expertise by learning simple baking and is willing to take on tasks such as car washing, gardening, and pet care. She is open to working with Chinese families, as well as Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian families.
