Amirah A. A. has extensive experience working as a domestic helper in Dubai and Singapore. From 2010 to 2013, she worked for a Muslim family in Dubai, where she cared for three children (two girls aged 5 and 8, and a boy aged 7). The family lived in a 2-story house with 5 bedrooms and 3 toilets. Amirah was the only helper and was responsible for sending and fetching the children to and from school, preparing their school needs, cooking, laundry, cleaning, ironing, and maintaining the household.

In 2021, Amirah began working in Singapore for a Chinese family residing in an HDB flat with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Her primary duty was elderly care, assisting an 80-year-old wheelchair-bound employer with stomach cancer. She handled tasks such as bathing, diaper changes, toileting, dressing, and administering pain-relief injections. She also managed the household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and cooking.

In 2022, Amirah worked briefly for another Chinese family in Singapore, caring for a 10-year-old boy. The family lived in a condominium with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Amirah was responsible for the child’s daily needs, such as preparing meals, mopping floors, wiping windows, maintaining cleanliness, laundry, and washing dishes. She followed the employer’s instructions diligently and served the family well.

From 2022 to 2024, Amirah worked for her last employer, a Chinese family in Singapore, living in an HDB flat with 2 bedrooms and 1 toilet. Her main responsibility was looking after an 82-year-old wheelchair-bound elderly. She assisted with bathing, dressing, and general hygiene while also performing household chores like cleaning, washing dishes, and ironing.

Amirah’s special skills include bicycle riding and hand sewing. Her hobbies are cooking, cleaning, reading, and performing general housework. She is eager to learn simple baking, car washing, gardening, and pet care. Amirah prefers to work for Chinese families only.
